Swiss Chard Moutabbal

Ingredients

1 bunch Swiss chard stalks
2 small garlic cloves, crushed
4 tablespoons Tahini
Juice of 1 lemon

Preparation

1. Wash the stems removing any bad ones, wash and chop into 1inch pieces, place in the pot covered with water with some salt and boil

2. When tender, strain and gently crush them with a pestle and mortar

3. Add the garlic and the lemon juice mixing well together

4. Add the above mixture and the tahini to the stems and mix well

5. Put in a serving plate and top with some extra virgin olive oil. Serve with pita bread
