MANGO MATCHA GREEN SMOOTHIE

This mango matcha green smoothie is thick and delicious and good for your too. Healthy greens and the boost of matcha green tea make this a great breakfast choice.


I love avocados and sometimes I treat them as if they are made of gold. For instance it pains me to use a couple of avocados in recipes like pudding or even salad dressing but I have. Instead, I prefer to treat myself with a slice or two on a salad or sandwich.


However I recently I decide to add half of one to a smoothie. I felt a little reckless but I did it because I knew it was a source of good-for-you-fats that I wanted to add to my morning smoothie. The result was unbelievable… to me at least. It made this mango matcha green smoothie so thick and delicious.

Mango Matcha Green Smoothie Recipe
This mango matcha green smoothie is thick and delicious and good for your too. Healthy greens and the boost of matcha green tea make this a great breakfast choice.



Ingredients

  • 1/2 avocado
  • 1/2 teaspoon matcha green tea
  • 1/2 cup mango
  • 1 cup baby greens,
  • 1 cup almond milk
  • stevia to taste

Instructions

  1. Add everything but the avocado to a high speed blender and blend for a minute or two until you see that all the greens are well blended.
  2. Then add your avocado and blend until nice and creamy.
  3. If this is too creamy, add some more almond milk or water a little at a time.
  4. You can add flax to this too if you want a little more fiber.
  5. I like my smoothies cold so using my avocados frozen does that for me but if you are using fresh avocados you might want to add a few ice cubes to make it cold.
